Booking Terms and Conditions

Payment method wire transfer/EFT/PayFast Link

  • 50% of the booking total payable upon booking

  • Remaining 50% of the booking total due 30 days prior to arrival

Cancellation Policy:

  • 90+ days: no cancellation fee

  • 61-90 days: 10% cancellation fee*

  • 31-60 days: 50% cancellation fee*

  • 0-30 days: 100% cancellation fee

* or amount already paid can be used as a credit towards a later stay

If a Safari needs to be cancelled due to insufficient bookings, the affected individual(s) will be notified by email 30 days (2 days for half-day package) before the start date and will receive a full refund. Please note it may take 5-10 working days for banks to process the refund. For any questions or issues, please contact us.

Transaction and Service Fees:

Please note transaction/service fees are non-refundable. 

  • for booking payments made by wire transfer/EFT or through PayFast, Tsala Trails does cover the transaction fees. In case of cancellation, these will not be refunded to the client.

Age and Fitness Level Required:

  • Our Safaris are open to participants aged 12 to 70

  • Anyone over 70 is invited to take part provided they supply a doctor's note confirming they are fit enough for theSafari. This ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

  • For insurance purposes, children under 12 are unable to join our Safaris. However, we strive to accommodatefamilies by offering alternative activities for younger guests where possible so please contact us to discuss suitableoptions. Please note the lodges we partner with do not provide babysitting services

  • Participants must be in good physical health, with no ankle issues that could impede walking.

Language:

You must have a basic understand of English in order to take part in our Walking Safaris. All interpretations will be given in English but if you would prefer to have a translator, we can try to arrange that at an extra cost to you. Please contact us at least 2 weeks in advance at reservations@tsalatrails.com to make the necessary arrangements.
