Booking Terms and Conditions

All rates are invoiced in South African Rands, Per Person and Per Package.

Tsala Trails reserves the right to change the rates at any stage. All guests will be required to settle their accounts for extras on departure day. 
We accept the following currencies:

  • Euros

  • US Dollars

  • British Pounds

  • South African Rands

The credit card used to make the booking needs to be present at check-in along with a copy of the owner's ID/passport.

Payment method wire transfer/EFT/PayFast Link

  • 50% of the booking total payable upon booking

  • Remaining 50% of the booking total payable 30 days prior to arrival (2 days for half-day package)

Cancellation Policy:

  • 90+ days: no cancellation fee

  • 61-90 days: 10% cancellation fee*

  • 31-60 days: 50% cancellation fee*

  • 0-30 days: 100% cancellation fee

*or amount already paid can be used as a credit towards a later date

If a Safari needs to be cancelled due to insufficient bookings, the affected individual(s) will be notified by email 30 days before the start date and will receive a full refund. Please note it may take 5-10 working days for banks to process the refund.

Transaction and Service Fees:

Please note transaction/service fees are non-refundable. 

  • for booking payments made by wire transfer/EFT/WISE or through PayFast, Tsala Trails does cover the transaction fees. Incase of cancellation, these will not be refunded to the client.

Age and Fitness Level Required:

  • Our Safaris are open to participants aged 12 to 70

  • Anyone over 70 is invited to take part provided they supply a doctor's note confirming they are fit enough for the Safari. This ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

  • For insurance purposes, children under 12 are unable to join our Safaris. However, we strive to accommodate families by offering alternative activities for younger guests where possible so please contact us to discuss suitable options. Please note the lodges we partner with do not provide babysitting services

  • Participants must be in good physical health, with no ankle issues that could impede walking

Language:

All wildlife interpretations and explanations during the Safari are given in English. If you would prefer to have a translator, we can try to arrange that at an extra cost to you.
