Guests stay at Nkuwa Wilderness Camp, a small and exclusive camp designed to immerse you fully in the surrounding bush. With just a handful of canvas tents, each positioned for privacy and connection to nature, the camp offers a simple yet comfortable base from which to explore Selati. Tents are well-appointed with comfortable beds, en-suite bush bathrooms, and shaded verandas that invite quiet moments overlooking the wilderness.

Is the bush sleep-out included?
Yes, it's included as an optional activity on Day 2. Weather-dependent and may be cancelled last-minute due to rain or unsafe conditions.
What if I don't want to do the sleep-out?
No problem. You'll return to the Camp for the night while others sleep out. It's entirely optional.
Can I extend this safari?

Are the walking safaris guided and safe?
Yes. All walking safaris are fully guided by experienced Trails Guides who prioritize guest safety and nature conservation. Walks are conducted in small groups to maintain a personal and secure experience. The guides are trained to interpret wildlife behavior and ensure all encounters are handled responsibly.
What should I bring or pack for the walking safari?
Bring neutral-colored clothing (khaki, brown, beige, navy), comfortable walking shoes with ankle support, gaiters, a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, a water bottle, and personal medication. Optional items include a camera and binoculars.
Avoid bright colors like red, orange, yellow, fluorescent tones, or white.
Is this suitable for solo travellers?
Yes, but a minimum of 4 guests is required for the safari to proceed. Solo travellers are welcome to join existing bookings.
What's the maximum group size?
6 guests. Small groups ensure intimacy, flexibility, and better wildlife encounters.
